The Village of Belleville is located in southern Dane County and northern Green County, along State Highways 69 and 92 and County Highways PB, D and CC. Belleville was founded in 1851 by John Frederick and incorporated as a village in 1892.
The total population is 2386, of which 1850 is in Dane County and 536 is in Green County.
